About the band
Long time friends Aare Lepiksaar, Silver Laadoga and Kristo Otter are from a little town Keila, near Tallinn. They started with The Nymph in the autumn of 2003. The Nymph now has also a fourth member – Kaspar Brandt – sound engineer and technical advisor, without whom a lot would have been undone and still would be, in the future. Band`s debut album was recorded and released in 2008 with music producer Johannes Lõhmus.
In the summer of 2009, couple of band`s friends came out with an idea to shoot a video for a song „Nude“. Video now can be seen in Youtube. In the beginning of 2010 band members started to work on new material and are planning to record a new album sometime in 2011.
The Nymph plays alternative-rock music, they do what they feel is good and right at the time – buzzing guitar-riffs meet electronic dance-loops and in the end it all stays to sing in your ears. That kind of diversity in music is what they very much enjoy. If to listen one of their concerts from the start to the very end, it feels and sounds like a provocative painting by famous syrrealist Salvador Dali. And this is all just the beginning...
